PROJECT: Dalton State College Bell Tower

PROJECT SCOPE: The project includes a 75 foot precast bell tower with a copper turret, stage, stairs, sidewalks and associated site work.  

 

The major trades were concrete, precast, masonry, handrails, copper fabrication, metal soffit fabrication, bird control, electrical, and plumbing.  This work also included the installation of 22 bells.

This tower was designed to be the focal point of the Dalton State Campus and, as such, was located directly behind the Administration Building and between the library and bookstore.  The existing amphitheater and central courtyard were replaced by this tower and the associated brickpaver walks with stage area.
